My students come from all different types of backgrounds and experiences, each having a million stories within the baggage they bring to class every day to an inner city DC public school. They are an incredibly curious bunch who are eager to learn about the world around them as we make our way along the path to college. We have a heavy emphasis on the importance of a college education in my class, hence our theme of "On Track to College." I firmly believe that every child deserves the chance to attain an excellent education and when given that chance, the sky is the limit. In the few opportunities they have been given, projections have inspired them (whether it be to show what colleges look like, where doctors work, or how recycling works!). My classroom lacks the appropriate technology to project the dreams and aspirations that my students have for their third grade year and for the rest of the lives. I have a limit
