We need a class set of the book Dark Life. We have an entire unit planned on problem-solving and argument. Dark Life lends itself well to our problem-solving unit because it causes students to imagine what life would be like underwater and how they would go about handling the challenges that a situation like that could produce. They will practice collaboration and teamwork in order to brainstorm ways to overcome potential problems. They will wrap up the unit by writing an essay that discusses the merits of colonizing underwater and they will have to back it up with evidence from research.

About my class
