I teach second grade at an all-girls public leadership academy which educates lady leaders in grades Pre-K through 8th grade. My classroom prioritizes academics, leadership, collaboration and opportunities for real-world experiences. We are a strong community of scholars, with a daily mission to create future lady leaders that are competent, confident & compassionate! My classroom is filled with creative, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences. As a teacher at a "new and innovative school", I have a strong focus on methods that will foster the development of 21st-century skills for girls in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields. My goals include high standards for learning as well as strong emotional and social growth, so that my students can become well rounded, active, contributing members of society.
