We need Ukulele’s to teach music to students. This instrument is much simpler to play and learn than guitar and is much more affordable. The Ukulele is a great tool to achieve student success because of its ability to help students develop skills and achieve musical understanding. I have chosen Ukuleles that are appropriately priced and easy to maintain. Ideally the students should have a methods book but we can work with what we have by using materials from previous classes. This project would also need extra Ukulele strings at some point because of normal string use. By adding Ukulele to the music program we are able to reach students with a popular instrument that will set them up for success because of its dexterity level and realistic affordability.
