We live in a small rural community with a very diverse population. We have many students who are learning the English language as well as learning to read at the same time. We have only one Primary school with 30 first grade classes and almost as many second grade classes. So even though our community is small, our school is overflowing! Although our school system does a wonderful job of providing for us, we still need help meeting the needs of our students. With less state funding than ever, we have limited access to materials beyond basic supplies. I would like to be able to provide my students with the enrichment materials that they deserve to enhance their learning experiences. I want school to be a place where children have fun while they are learning new things.

About my class
