The students I work with have challenges learning and using language and articulation skills, using fluent speech, and some have struggles with their voice quality. They are diligent, hard working students who strive to learn. Because of their struggles they are often the students in general education who "check out" because they don't understand what is being discussed. However, if they could hear all that was being said by the speaker it would eliminate one major frustration and increase focus on learning. The students lack confidence and are less likely to participate in oral presentations.

About my class
