My immigrant and refugee students are on their way to becoming confident and competent users of English.. They are learning to research and find information and record this in their notebooks. Unfortunately, they are still limited in their fluency of the English language. They want the opportunity to fully participate in and out of the classroom with their schoolmates. To do this, they will need to study both functional and academic English in a small group setting. I hope you will help us provide this opportunity for them. This project will provide them with the tools and materials to fully become integrated in the United States experience. With your help, they will build gain the knowledge necessary to become productive and involved community participants.

About my class
