I teach Civics and Government on the 8th grade Phoenix team at Worcester East Middle. Worcester East Middle School is one of four urban middle schools in the Worcester Public School District. 67% of our students are economically disadvantaged and nearly 85% are high needs. Technology and even simple classroom supplies are hard to come by, being funded mostly out of pocket by myself and the other teachers on my team. We have classes full of bright, intelligent, and eager students who try their hardest with what they're given. We strive to give them much more, so they can reach their full potential and become lovers of learning throughout their future.

About my class
