My students have used LEGO kits in middle school, but my high school program does not have a useful kit. I want to purchase a LEGO Mindstorm kit for my students to conduct our engineering experiments with such as electricity, mechanical advantage, robot programming, and system control technology. My students have been asking for a working LEGO Mindstorm kit for use in some of our projects and experiments. Currently, my classes have access to boxes of mismatched parts from some old Mindstorm kits which we have been unsuccessful in making use of due to their age and conditions in which they were stored prior to my becoming the engineering teacher.
