We are located in a high poverty area where parents work long hours, and we also have many retired and active duty military families. Many of our students are not exposed to team sports or physical activity outside of the school setting because of parent work schedules. Our school does not offer any after-school team sports options, and many of our students are learning about different athletic games during our PE time. I want to be able to give my students the best physical education opportunities no matter our location. With funds low, it has been many years since we have gotten new sports equipment for our students to use.
