Our students at our school love to read, learn, build, create, explore, and be challenged! They are bright, inquisitive, and caring. Our school is a PK-8 building and is the only school in the district. We have 398 students and 253 of those students receive free or reduced lunches. Do you remember when you, or your children, played with Legos as a kid? Do you remember the feeling of accomplishment when you built something you were proud of? Our students LOVE Legos and would love to have the opportunity to use them more often. Unfortunately, Legos are somewhat pricey and many of our families cannot afford to purchase many Legos. We would like to offer an after school Lego club so that our students can build with Legos. We would love to challenge our students to become more creative and better critical thinkers with this club.
