My students are a part of a mixed-age Montessori class with children ranging from three to six years old. My students learn through hands-on activities that are fun, engaging, and educational. Through the use of interesting, stimulating, and challenging materials, the children develop their ability to concentrate, think creatively, and problem solve. These skills help the children carryout complex math activities that require them to focus and think outside of the box. Hands-on activities allow the children refine their hand-eye coordination and strengthen their hand grip, which helps them develop an appropriate and strong pencil grip for writing. My students love to work on educational activities together. Through their work, they naturally learn to find solutions through meaningful cooperation and communication.
