My school serves a rather large area. We are located in a small city of approximately 8000 residents, but also serve the surrounding rural towns and farming communities. The district covers approximately 258 square miles and is considered low-income. My engineering students tend to be in grades 11-12 and have a strong interest in math, science, and the arts. Most of them plan on attending college to earn a STEAM related degree.
