Having a variety of options for seating is critical. Kids need to be able to move around and wiggle. The wobble cushions are fantastic for those kids. The lap desk will allow kids to work in their own quiet space, as will the stools. Kids also need to discover where and what works best for their brain and body. Having flexible seating will help them to discover how they learn best. Allowing them choices in seating will create an environment where they are held accountable for their learning. I know first hand, that I don't sit still well, why would we expect that of 6 and 7 year olds?
