My students are eager to jump into reading. They are eager learners and come to school ready to give 100% each and every day. I have created a library within my classroom where students are able to browse and choose books based on their individual abilities and interests. While I have added several personal books to our library, we need more! My students need a variety of books to fuel their love of reading. We get to visit our school library once a week, but they need a variety of texts available to them at all times. Independent reading will help increase their academic performance.
