My school pays for access to many amazing educational programs and websites that are specifically designed to target students weaknesses and strengthen their existing abilities. Students are required to use these programs in addition to the curriculum units. Due to lack of funding, my students have limited access to educational programs. Working in a Title 1 school, in a low-income community, parents often do not have the resources for their children to access these programs at home. In first grade, building foundational skills required for reading, math, and language success is critical. Access to outstanding early childhood education is instrumental to a child's development. Please help give my students the tools and technology they need in order to achieve educational success.
