We are aimed at the goal to reach all students in physical education regardless of their ability level. Inclusive equipment will allow each child to participate at their own unique level with substitute balls and manipulatives. This provides students with an opportunity to learn new skills despite physical, emotional, or social setbacks due to a disability. The balls provided in the starter pack were all designed specifically to accommodate students faced with challenges. They are different weights, sizes, colors, and textures. For example, sometimes the weight of a regular basketball is too heavy for students. The special balls will make a difference because it allows them to participate and learn the skill with everyone else through tailored accommodations.
