After traveling to China this summer, I am excited to bring back two popular Chinese sports to my physical education classroom. Students will discover the benefits of participating in both Jianzi and Badminton activities. This project will stock the gym with rackets, traditional shuttlecocks and Jianzi shuttlecocks. Adding these sports to our physical education curriculum will help to promote physical fitness. Both activities are known for helping to reduce stress and anxiety and will make a difference in the lives of each middle school student. Thank you for giving my students the gift of physical and mental fitness. Both are necessary for the success of students in the middle school setting.
