I have chosen to add a few more dodge balls to my class. Supposedly the ones from last year (before I got here) disappeared. I use these foam balls for a lot of different games such as over the line ball and cone ball. Also, I added to jerseys to the list of needed items. This will give me a way to differentiate my teams. I do not believe the kids had jerseys last year for PE. Mesh bags will be used to organize equipment. Poly spots will be used to mark boundaries. Lastly, we need an extra set of soccer goals so we can play two soccer games at once. This extra equipment will give students a greater opportunity to learn team building skills. I plan to do a lot of sports ed units. These units will help teach kids how to work together while playing sports.
