I would like to begin by saying thank you for your consideration and your donation! Now, have you ever watched a 7th grader for a span of time, especially a 7th grade boy? Have you ever noticed or thought to yourself, "That kid CANNOT be still!" Well, as a 7th grade math teacher, I agree! Students today are probably the most active kids when it comes to having to move and wiggle and yet we, as teachers, ask them to sit at hard uncomfortable desks for 7 hours a day and constantly get on them when they won't be still. If we were to honestly think about it, how many of us, as adults, would want to sit in a desk for 7 hours a day 5 days a week? So in my math class, I have decided that I want to change things up and give the students something they want. No, something they need! I want to give them seats that they can move around on and even bounce on without getting in trouble and disrupting others. I want my 7th grade math students to look forward to coming in and sitting in their seats rather than me having to get on them for not sitting down. I want them to be able to move and learn at the same time. So, please help me give my students what they need to be successful! Help me give them seating that will meet their need to move!
