In first grade we start building the foundation of great readers and writers! This project will help create a library in our classroom that encourages young readers to enjoy reading! I want the library to be a space they can find a wide range of books that any reader can find an interest within. I want to create a writing center that is fun and inviting. Writing can be seen as tedious and boring to these little learners. I want to make it a fun space they want to go to enjoy writing and sharing their ideas on paper. I will use the desk as a center that students will visit daily to write in their journals.
