Hello! I love teaching in the primary grades! Reading is my passion and I love introducing my students to fun, poetic, silly, classic, wacky books; watching THEIR love of reading bloom is priceless. I learn so much from my students and their questions, such as, "What does a butterfly eat?" My classroom has changed from year to year, as I am always looking for innovative and engaging ways to organize, teach, and inspire my students. We have fun taking our classroom outside to make scientific observations, using song and dance to practice skip counting, and holding daily classroom meetings to encourage the growth of our supportive class community. I heartily believe I have the best job in the world and love coming to work each day!
