Giving students the choice in their learning will elevate student engagement. Not all students are able to concentrate and do their best with the traditional style desk and chair. Our world is ever changing and as technology advances and our resources advance, I want to be able to incorporate all of this in the comfort of my classroom. The key word is "comfort"! Students are within my four walls for 7 hours each day and expected to succeed academically, emotionally, and socially. Using flexible seating will allow me to assist my students in finding their optimal learning environment. The use of wobble chairs, stools, balance discs, ball chairs, bouncy bands, and LapDesk will encourage students to take ownership of their learning and be the best they can be.

About my class
