I am a Full Inclusion teacher. What this means is that I am constantly on the move. The teacher rolling cart will essentially be my mobile classroom. To successfully work with my students, I must anticipate daily what supplies will be needed in order for my students to be successful in the general education curriculum. This means that I may need to pack many items, from fine motor skill materials to sentence building cards. While most people would look at a boogie board as a toy, the reality for my students is that it is an incentive for them to begin writing independently. Independent writing is a necessity for all students. It is the major building block for all subject areas. By donating to this grant, you will be helping our most precious students and give them an opportunity to thrive in an inclusion classroom.
