Learning to read independently is fundamental to academic success. We have time every day in our class that the students read books independently that are at their own reading level. They are currently housed in cardboard magazine holders, which constantly tear and come apart. You will be making a difference in each child's life, by helping them to become better readers! By using plastic book bins that are actually sturdy and built for books, we will be able to store our colorful book bins filled with our books in our room without having them fall apart. I love that each tub has a plastic label holder, as I make the students Reading Licenses each year. These will fit perfectly in the front of of the tubs making it easy for students to find their own bins. Thank you for considering funding this project, and helping my students to be successful as they are beginning their education careers!
