Lab tables, not desks, are used in my Science classroom, and two students will occupy each lab table. Six-foot distancing is not possible with 27-30 students in the classroom for each hour of the day. I want to see my students in the classroom, but I also want to provide as much safety as I can. These clear, plexiglass safety shields will be placed across the center of each lab table to protect the students as they work and learn. These barriers will allow my students a safe place to learn, and because they are clear I will be able to easily see and monitor all students.
