My students greatly benefit from hands-on learning experiences because they are given the chance to explore and engage their inquisitive minds. iPads will give my students another reason to be excited about their learning. Providing first grade students with technology expands their opportunities for learning, innovation, and engagement. iPads will allow me to differentiate and provide learning opportunities for my diverse group of students. If my project is funded my students will be able to: -Practice math skills by playing educational math games -Practice various reading skills including: phonics, sight words, fluency, and comprehension -Research information for writing projects -Access and listen to audiobooks -Document their learning and share their successes iPads will help my students make the most of independent practice by keeping them engaged with fun activities as well as maximizing their learning and growth.
