Visual supports and interactive learning materials are essential to my students'​ success in the classroom. Although my students are 3-4 year old preschoolers, many of them are functioning at the 12-18 month old level. Many of them require visual supports in the form of pictures to communicate basic wants and needs. Many of my students are nonverbal and rely on these visual supports to have a voice and communicate their wants/needs. Although I am able to create these visuals and lessons on my computer, ink, laminating paper and velcro are needed to make my projects come to life! Having access to these items will allow me to create durable learning materials and visual supports that will help my students to "find their voice".
