The majority of my students come from low income homes and single parent homes. The students at my school all receive free breakfast. My students come to school hungry every day and I provide snacks for them each morning. My students are different from most because of their emotional outbursts and behaviors at times but they are also very lovable. My school rallies around all of our students including my classroom. My students integrate into their classes as much as possible for art, music, Physical Education, and other subjects as they can handle it. My school works together because we know it takes all of us to help children be successful. Sometimes, children at my school are struggling to learn in the regular education environment and as a regional behavior support classroom they will come to my room and receive additional support for not just the child but for the teacher. This is the team work that exists at my school.
