My 2nd grade students are located in a small, rural area of Maine. Our school is very small, with a total student population of less than 150 students. My district is in the midst of a budget freeze, not allowing the purchase of any additional supplies for our schools. Finding ways to make teaching and learning fun are my top priority, but it is so hard when you don't have the tools you need to do that with, or funding to back up purchases that help achieve your goal.
