My students enter the world of kindergarten wide eyed and bushy tailed, but they come into my classroom on a variety of ability levels. Some can't identify the letter A or write their name, and others are readily pre-reading. In order to differentiate their instruction and engage the students using materials they are familiar with, I'd like to introduce tablets to my students. I can use fun and kid-friendly apps to touch students of all abilities, whether they are sharpening their letter knowledge, identifying site words, or reading e-books! The children will look forward to Tech Center and these tablets will help establish their love of reading and learning!
