I teach ninth grade students with learning challenges between the ages of 14 and 17 years old. These students are preparing to take the Regents exams. They live in high need communities. Many of their parents are unemployed or underemployed and cannot provide enough food for their children. Our students suffer when food is scarce in their households. The problem of our students being hungry becomes the teachers' responsibilities to find them food.

About my class
