As an ELA teacher, I know the importance of reading. This project will help me provide students with books that they are interested in. Reading will help them increase vocabulary, improve comprehension skills, and critically think. Books have the power to open up a world of knowledge. The skills they gain from reading will help them in the world. “There is no such thing as a child who hates to read; there are only children who have not found the right book.” – Frank Serafini My goal is to find the right books for my students and instill in them a love of reading. My classroom library will provide an opportunity for my students who do not have access to books to gain a love of reading.
