World Studies is a class where students study the geography, economics, government, and history of people throughout Asia and Africa. Specifically, our priority standards focus on issues that hinder one's quality of life. My goal as a teacher is to facilitate learning experiences where students create solutions to such problems. Innovation and Empathy are needed to propel our students to think of ways to assist people all over the world. A 3D printer can help design products to assist people in need. These products will be presented in a workshop format during our class's Model UN lessons. We seek to become movers and shakers that will create innovation that will change the world.
