My school is a place of true diversity and amazing spirits! As school leaders, we strive to constantly improve our instruction, resources, and methods of teaching students to the best of our ability. My classroom is full of excited, growing, and ingenious young learners. 6th grade is a year of true self and world discovery. As we learn about ancient civilizations and read culturally responsive texts, students begin to create the bridge which connects literature to life both in the past and present. We have a very safe and loving classroom which cultivates this kind of learning environment. In our classroom, students feel secure to question, explore, and share their thoughts, ideas, and concerns.
