My students are my "kiddos". Each year, I am blessed with an amazing group. Some walk in brave and confident, while others are weary and shy. Aside from helping them become kind souls, my goal is to have them walk out my classroom liking math even a little more than when they walked in. I teach a variety of levels, but the majority are just starting their high school math journey. I encourage my students to make mistakes, as I believe that is key component to learning! Our classroom is filled with colorful decorations and possesses an inviting atmosphere. Although we have our challenges and every day is not perfect, my students make me smile anyway....every single day.
