My students try every day to make progress in the Math classroom, but it is hard to succeed when they are missing some basic Math skills. My goal is to try and make learning Math more of a game. We are starting a "Math Enrichment" period during the school day, where students can build their Math foundation in a fun and interactive way. I hope that by providing them with a variety of Math games that they will want to keep playing and learning. My students not only love a good challenge, but need to work on their cooperative and team building skills. Learning and practicing Math through games and group activities should help them grow not only as Mathematicians but as friends and peers.
