We are a rural school out in the country with mostly low socio-economic students and families. My classroom has a small library that I have added to as I can, but it isn't very diverse or large. I believe that everyone can love reading, but they have to have the right books to choose from. My sincere belief is that by exposing my students to diverse cultures and places they will be aware of opportunities for themselves as they mature. I am constantly looking for ways to broaden their outlooks, so they can become more than they ever imagined possible. This is definitely a work in progress.
