I will be using the chalk markers to allow students to be able to draw models and write out explanations on the lab tables. The forensic fuming activity will be used in forensic science to give students real life tools that forensic scientists also have. Chalk markers will be a tool that students can use to not only show their knowledge, but also share their knowledge! For example, I have students write out answers from discussion questions so that students can walk around the room and read answers from others students. They also will draw models of DNA or create food webs for other students and myself to analyze in real time.
