My students have been working extra hard on the academic and behavior goals and their prize is a class pet. I have rescued a Holland Dwarf bunny! He has a cage, but he needs a home! If you donate to our cause, Little Fluff (our sweet, sweet bunny) will have a hutch in a classroom along with so food, hay, and other supplies. We will use our bunny hutch to watch and learn about our pet in his new habitat. We will set the hutch up in the corner of our room and make it our reading nook. Little Fluff will be a great listener and buddy reader to my students! My class loves to read, but can grow tired of our daily reading to self routines. We love to go for adventures! We read in our community parks and on the playground, but this cold weather is keeping us inside. I love introducing new avenues to make reading exciting and school a fun and happy place to be! Our class is a family and I like to make our classroom feel like home. Now, our little bunny friend needs a hutch so he can join our school family! Having this hutch and the materials for our bunny will also help teach my students about responsibility. They will be in charge of changing his litter box and tray, feeding him, giving him water, and loving him everyday! Thank you so much in advance for any donation you can give. My students are so excited and picked the hutch out themselves!
