I am so fortunate to get to work with 86 creative, passionate fifth graders each day! 5th grade is their first year out of elementary school and the learners are placed into triads. We have three homerooms in our triad, and I see each class for 70 minutes for Language Arts. We explore reading, writing, word study, and grammar in a workshop setting. I absolutely love seeing my students' ideas grow and evolve, as well as hearing the stories they have to share.
