Heath Springs Elementary is our home away from home. Our school is located in a small rural community. We are a Title One school with 59.4% of our students receiving free/reduced lunch. Most parents work outside of our community due to limited job availability. Many of the Busy Bees have little or no access to technology or the Internet. I’m asking you to help place those experiences and interactions in the hands of my students by assisting in my project of providing three iPads for the Busy Bees’ classroom. Every child needs a chance to prepare for their future using the most innovative technology available. Your donations will equip the Busy Bees with necessary tools to do just that. As a school, our goal is to move full S.T.E.A.M. ahead. Our lessons are infused with S-science, T-technology, E-engineering, A-arts, M-math. Our objective, project based learning. iPads will help to provide more opportunities to include T-technology in daily instruction.
