I have 21 AMAZING second graders in my dual-certified classroom. Our students LOVE to use technology whenever possible and my goal is to give them as many opportunities to do so as possible. Our school is in the process of transitioning to an inquiry-based instructional model while also adopting the Next Generation Science Standards. This has required LOTS of new fun and engaging units that require LOTS of new materials. Our inquiry-based instruction requires students to ask questions, take risks, share ideas, and collaborate. Seeing what our kids are capable of is AMAZING. I am fortunate enough to work for a school that is a very safe and learning-focused environment that supports all of our learners and their needs. However, we are a Title 1 school and often student-provided-funds are limited. My goal with this page is to fund activities to promote a positive working environment for all of my students! Thank you :)
