I teach at a Title I public school in Denver, CO. At my school, we have a variety of families from all over the world. A lot of these families are low-income which means that their children receive free/reduced breakfast and lunch. This also means that they do not always have the extra money to spend on school supplies. I teach preschool students with disabilities. These disabilities include, autism, cerebral palsy, speech/language disorders, emotional and behavioral disabilities, physical, and cognitive disabilities. I also have a couple children who are typically developing that serve as peer models in my classroom.
