Hello Potential Donor! Thank you for viewing my welcome message. I am a public school teacher in a low income county that experiences drastic cuts to funding for years. Nevertheless, my high school students come to school each day with the spirit and determination to learn. They are vivacious individuals who enjoy challenging learning essentials. I am a third-year teacher and a second-year AVID teacher. AVID focuses primarily on students who are considered to be "in the middle" academically and are sometimes overlooked. AVID develops learning, study and academic behavioral skills that are essential to success in rigorous coursework. In the AVID class, students receive daily instruction and support to prepare them for college from a trained AVID instructor (that's me!) Your donation makes a difference. Thank you.
