Our current drumline is using drums that are over 20 years old. They are falling apart and we keep patching them up every year. It is time for our percussion section to finally get new drums that will last another 20 years for the future of our band program. It is hard to become proficient on your instrument when it is constantly breaking. The current drumheads never stay tuned because of the rims being warped from wear and tear over the years. A new set would benefit not only the percussionists but the band as a whole.
