Air quality in the library is always a problem but with the present outbreak keeping the viral load low as 25 students browse the bookshelves is paramount in keeping the free choice of titles alive. Safety comes first but engagement by students in what they are reading will better close the gaps created by a lack of choice or even access to good reads. The library must be a safe place for students to browse the stacks. They must have the opportunity to look for their own books they will read at school and at home.
