The area rug will be used daily. It is essential that students gain a love for learning at an early age. One way I ensure this happens in my classroom is by encouraging interactive and engaging lessons through group work and story telling. Having a comfortable place to sit during these lessons will increase engaging opportunities for students. My students will benefit and take pride in having a comfortable place to come to learn. This area rug will become a place where my students will listen to stories about people from all over the world. It will become a place where memories are formed about their second grade class.
