ALL OF MY STUDENTS WANT TO LEARN AND ACHIEVE GREAT THINGS! Though, not all students are able to receive the resources that help them succeed, especially inner-city students. It is hard to stay focused at 6-7 years old for the whole school day. I understand how hard it is to stay focused when you just want to move around. I also have a hard time sittting in one spot for a long period of time so I can't blame them! By donating to our project, you will help to improve and increase my student's attention and focus and you will help to increase their academic achievement. My students have a very difficult time staying in their seat, keeping their seat on the ground, and staying focused. Having these materials in my classroom will allow my students to get their wiggles out while learning. They will also have the opportunity to choose a different seating arrangement other than sitting on the hard tile floor, desk chair, or rug. The students can choose to read using a rocking chair or soft seat, while others can choose to write or do math at their desks using a wobble chair, stool, or stability ball. The possibilities are endless!
