Currently I teach 27 first grade students various accommodations. Each student is considered a hard worker. With so many students being visual and kinesthetic learners, I would like them to have choices in classroom seating. It is difficult to accomplish this without the proper tools and resources that will make learning relevant, engaging, and fun. Working in a Title I School sometimes means that funding is not always available to purchase resources OR there are stipulations on what the money can be used for. Knowing this, I find myself spending money that I truly do not have to make modifications to their learning.
